Ansel Adams is a famous photographer and environmentalist. He was born in San Francisco on February 20, 1902 to Charles Hitchcock Adams and Olive Bray Adams. During his childhood he went to a private school and after high-school he was able to go to Harvard. During College he found his true love who he ended up marrying, her name was Virginia. They had two kids named Michael and Anne. He was the founder of Group f/64 and received many awards such as: Conservation Service Award - 1968, Presidential Medal of Freedom - 1980, Sierra Club John Muir Award - 1963, and Hasselblad Award - 1981. Unfortunately he past away on April, 22 1984.
